What is covered & not-covered by General Public Liability Insurance?
Inclusions
· It protect the insured against their legal liability towards third parties (the customers) for accidents resulting bodily injury, personal damage, advertising injury and loss to tangible property of the visitors caused by the business operations or finished products that occur in the premises or other premises wherever their business operations are conducted.
· If you or your business is being sued for any losses caused to the third party then the insurance company will incur all the expenses of investigating officers and lawyers.
Exclusions
· Expected or Intended Injury: Bodily injury or property damage expected or intended from the standpoint of the insured. This exclusion does not apply to bodily injury resulting from the use of reasonable force to protect persons or property.
· Employer's Liability: It does not covers bodily injury of an employee performing duties related to the conduct of the insured (policyholder) business.
· Liquor Liability: Bodily injury or property damage caused due to intoxication of any person or giving alcoholic beverages to a person under the legal drinking age or under the influence of alcohol.
· Gradual Pollution: Bodily injury or property damage arising out of the actual, alleged or threatened discharge, dispersal, seepage, release of "pollutants at the location which is or was at any time owned or occupied by any insured.
